HSBC SVNS Vancouver, part of the rebranded HSBC Sevens series, will take place from February 23 to 25, 2025, at BC Place Stadium. This event marks Vancouver as one of eight global stops in this revamped tournament, featuring 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams, including teams from Canada. The tournament is known for its electric atmosphere, thrilling sevens rugby, and a festival-like experience combining sports and entertainment.

The 2024 Vancouver Sevens will mark the 9th time the tournament has visited Vancouver, and the second year in a row that the event will feature concurrently run women’s and men’s tournaments. Over three days, 24 teams (12 women’s and 12 men’s)—including two Canadian squads taking to their home pitch—will play 64 total matches, with two champions being crowned on the final day.

This tournament, which marks the event’s 10th anniversary, will feature a combined men’s and women’s rugby sevens competition over the course of three days. Timings for the matches will run approximately from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day, though exact match schedules are yet to be confirmed.

This event will feature Canada’s national teams, including the Women’s Sevens team, which won a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics, and the Men’s Sevens team participating in a special invitational Fast Four tournament.
