Fiesta Filipino is a celebration of the multiculturalism and diversity in Alberta. Our organization provides Albertans with the opportunity to experience the Filipino Canadian culture and heritage through year-round programs of music, arts, food, and performances. We are 100% volunteer-driven, not for-profit, and community-based organization.
As the fastest growing community with almost 200,000 members, our vision is to create a Canada that embraces cultural diversity and multiculturalism.
We envision a Filipino-Canadian community that fully lives the value of Bayanihan, that supports its members and that fully participates in the shaping of this country’s future.

What to Expect?
Spectacular Free Concerts: On September 1, enjoy a free concert by the rising Pinoy POP (PPOP) sensation, BGYO, straight from the Philippines, and Darren Esparto, a Filipino-Canadian singer and actor who began his illustrious career right here in Canada.
Over 300 Local Artists: Experience the talents of more than 300 local artists performing throughout the festival, and Youth Got Talent competition.
Culinary Delights: Savor authentic Filipino cuisine from 15 food vendors. Each vendor is tasked to create a menu specifically for Fiesta Filipino.
Cultural Exhibits: Explore dozens of exhibitors showcasing Filipino heritage and traditions.
Playseum Corner: Childhood will be re-lived with nostalgic and traditional Filipino games.
Zumba Family Day: Get moving with Zumba Family Day, set to the energetic tunes of the Nations Girl Group BINI and the Aces of PPOP BGYO, ensuring a fun-filled fitness session for all ages.
Theatre Collaborations: Witness a unique collaboration between Calgary Opera and Flipside Theatre Collective. Acting workshop will also be offered
DJ Filipino Dance Music: Dance to the vibrant beats of Filipino dance music spun by talented DJs, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
Basketball Fever: Catch the exciting Calgary Surge 3-on-3 basketball games with the public.
Games and Prizes: Participate in various games and win exciting prizes.
In 2023, Fiesta Filipino attracted over 80,000 festival-goers during its three-day event, underscoring its significance as a cornerstone of the Filipino community in Alberta.
